LIL’ TYKES SUMMER CAMP

A “little” version of our Day Camps. Kids will enjoy fitness activities such as racquetball, dancing, swimming and other games. Discounts offered for multiple registrations.

SPEED AND AGILITY TRAINING
June 21-241-4 p.m. Mon.-Thurs.
A camp designed for all levels of athletes. It will utilize drills and overload training to enhance results in strength, flexibility and quickness. This camp will help young athletes reach their full potential. Taught by strength & conditioning coach, Jesse Arnold.

“TWEEN” Boot Camp
9am-4:30pm Mon-Thurs
July 26-29, August 16-19
No TV or video games included in this camp. This four-day boot camp is designed to get kids up off the couch and moving. Kids will spend time with a certified fitness coach learning about exrcise and nutrition. Activities will include nutrition education, fitness drills, sports drills, swimming and more.

Girls Only Sports Camp
Clackamas Ages 8-12
M-Th, August 2-5 2-5pm
Girls will learn basic dance moves from different style of dance, including jazz and hip-hop. Other activities will include flexibility training, self-defense, swimming and water safety. Taught by dance instructor Carly Caplener and swim instructor Kayla Scheafer.

Rocket Lab
Clackamas Ages 7-10
M-F July 19-23 2-5pm
M-F, July 26-30 9am-Noon
3, 2, 1, blast off! This camp is rockets, rockets and more rockets! Your child is in for an action packed week focused entirely on rockets and the physics of flight. Campers will learn the importance of teamwork in launching rockets and will have their hand at each role. Daily topics: Rocket scientist, astronaut training, mission control, mission recovery and go for launch.
Junior Science Explorers
Clackamas Ages 5-8
M-F August 9-13 2-5pm
Campers will develop their earth awareness and explore this world as Junior Naturalists before heading for space as Junior Astronauts. Campers will also explore why their big toe is important in the Science of Sport day.
Rockets & the Science of Flight
Mon.-Fri., July 12-16 9 a.m.- Noon
Space, rockets, planes and flight…a little bit of everything for a rockin’ good time! Campers will have a blast learning the hows and whys of aerodynamics by studying all things that fly: planes, kites, hot air balloons, helicopters and, of course, rockets. Daily topics: The Wright stuff,
Secret Agent Lab

Sharpen your pencils, polish your magnifying glass and get ready for a week of Mad Science sleuthing. Campers will step into the shoes of a detective to uncover the science involved in evidence gathering and crime scene investigation. Creative Writing Camp
Clackamas Ages 10-14 Tues./Thurs., June 22 & 24 2:00-5:00pm
Put your imagination into words. Learn to bring out the fun in writing through a variety of techniques and impromptu exercises. Students will create a short story and read it to the class on the final day. Taught by award –winning free lance writer, Ken Niezgoda.
